Okay, my brand new Felicity and now Marisol have this, Marisol's is worse, so I thought I would ask...what is up with the seam that goes up the back and to the tie string around the neck? Isn't it supposed to be a solid seam? On these two dolls it's like they ran out of fabric and it V's open and then they put an extra piece and sewed it in to "make it fit" Sorta reminds me of when you cut your wrapping paper to short and then you add a piec underneath to hide the box and tape the rest of the paper to it! I don't like it! It's not that bad on Felicity and I thought, well maybe I just got a mishap, but Marisol's is wider and with putting her hair up for some of her outfits, it looks kinds funny. I just don't want to go through the trouble of returning her if it is kinda normaal. Thanks

My DD's new AGT doll has that too. Along with a Nellie I once owned. So...I guess it is a new design???

AG implemented the new body style to get rid of the bunching at the neck. When the dolls had the straight seem up the back, the material around the neck bunched up. With the new V in the seem, it makes the material around the neck lays flatter. I actually like the new cut better when the girls are wearing tank dresses or dresses with lower cut necklines, because you don't see the bunching.

I think AG is making all new dolls with this back seam now because my AGT22, 24, Nellie all have it.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yes, I'm also a big fan of the new neck seam. I think it will also make it easier for me to reattach their heads, too.
